Skateboarding in Kenya blog

I went to visit my friend at Uhuru park; he told me he was a skateboarder. I had seen movies like street dreams and I was looking forward to see him skate and if he was as good as Paul Rodriguez,  scratch that -- that's overshooting. On the other hand, I could be wrong. When I got the "park" it was a different story. I talked to some of his friends while I was waiting for him at the "park", people even called it the "skate park".When I looked at it -- it was just a staircase made of concrete some of it was a bit worn maybe because people were grinding on it. As I waiting at 2p.m in the afternoon, there was only one skateboarder called Murage. I asked how he got into skateboarding and he told me that he watched a video called wake up which you can find here , another arrived and I asked him the same question and he said he watched play skate by Ibra. Late last year, the world was struck by a virus called the corona virus SARS-CoV-2. Some places had been locked down quite early (San Francisco, USA and China) but despite this the world had to continue and we as skateboarders had to continue pushing as usual.   About to go skate However, due to the mode of transmission of the virus; it is recommended that people should wear masks you can find more information about why masks are important here . Therefore, the wearing of the masks is not some conspiracy, waiting for the police to remind you doesn't make sense too; you are protecting yourself and your homies around you. There's a skate park in Karen. No way! Yes way! :D In the Hub Mall, i discovered an amusement park called Funscapes -- after one of my paintball matches. At that time, the games were fewer and rather expensive. The employees were so friendly to me on that day. Maybe because it was my first time there? I cannot say. After paying a game and losing pretty badly. They invited me to skate out back. It was just an empty place with a tiled concrete floor. I was so exhausted; i couldn't land tricks so well but i managed to show them a thing or two about skateboarding. I didn't know that very spot would be a skate park one day. No wonder they encouraged me to skate there. Funscapes is an amusement park with slot machines with a variety of games to pick from from Time crisis, Armageddon, Batman, the ones for picking prizes that i don't seem to remember at the moment, a jungle gym of some sort en cetera. Been skating for a while like me, not really? One thing's for sure your going to go through so many shoes. So obviously you'll get holes in your shoes as you skate. This happens because as you drag your foot up the board it wears out or just by kicking and pushing. You can even know which tricks someone is doing. Remember kickflips and heelflips finish those shoes in a very specific way. Why not extend their life? Saving you some cash. In this article, I'll talk about that. I decided to write this article to share some of the ways. Fighting the wear! and tear! First, Shoe goo,  this is popular among skateboarders. After putting it on your shoes, it feels like rubber. However, after applying it on your shoes. You'll have to wait for a week for it to solidify well. I've never used it before but I'll consider trying it out. When i started skateboarding a couple of years ago. People often recommended me to watch some of these videos I've mentioned here. I've arranged them in ascending order. First up, Wake up, I've heard a lot of positive reviews about this ones, play skate and the others. I initially wanted to review each video and say something about it and realised how biased I can be. So i decided to use the views to determine the arrangement. Have i left anything out?
