Go Skateboarding day is a special holiday developed by the international association of skateboard companies in which essentially all skateboarders skate to promote skateboarding as well as to refute the ‘no skateboarding’ signs in various countries. I have not seen any no skateboarding symbols in Kenya have you? On this day one can either represent where they live by skating in their home area and doing something that will catch the glance of people in the long run discovering potential skateboarders within these regions. The difficulty skating not having sponsors ,money to purchase boards, lack of skate shops and good quality boards, discrimination from people who thought we were posers, unsupportive parents since they thought that skateboarding is not a profitable venture.
