How i spend my birthday-Go skateboarding day 2014.

Go Skateboarding day is a special holiday developed by the international association of skateboard companies in which essentially all skateboarders skate to promote skateboarding as well as to refute the ‘no skateboarding’ signs in various countries. I have not seen any no skateboarding symbols in Kenya have you? On this day one can either represent where they live by skating in their home area and doing something that will catch the glance of people in the long run discovering potential skateboarders within these regions. Skate Hustle is Kenyan owned company run by none other than Deecy aka Sydney Yongo-KING OF SKATE 2014. I asked him several questions to clear the mystery behind SKATE HUSTLE APPAREL. This is what he got to say. Why did you decide to call your business Skate Hustle Apparel? It came to me while was watching the last part of the Skate video Hallelujah; during Torey Pudwill’s part. Before he started he sang Rick Ross ‘Hustlin’ There and then I thought about the local skate scene here in Kenya; how used to be like when I began skating. The difficulty skating not having sponsors ,money to purchase boards, lack of skate shops and good quality boards, discrimination from people who thought we were posers, unsupportive parents since they thought that skateboarding is not a profitable venture.
